Thanks. Thing is finding shabbosdig tops is so hard, - most tops in non-jewish stores are not nice enough... Think I would have more luck if I looked in Jewsh stores? I live in UK... Or can I just go on wearing dresses??!!

You can buy beautiful and reasonable shabbos tops from many non jewish shops such as wallis and next and principles. I have only ever bought from those three shops and never spent more than £30 a top. Good luck.

Of course you can still wear dresses. If you're nervous about 'being in style', don't worry, plenty of 'stylish' women are still wearing dresses.

But buy clothes that you really like, and wear them for years. If you keep worrying about trends you will have to get a new wardrobe very often. It's ok to have your own style.

I find that asos has a lot of tops that are cute and not expensive.

I'm with you tigerwife... I can't see anyone wearing crop tops a year or two from now, but fitted dresses and other classics looks will always be a good choice.
I am a fan of the midi skirt trend, though with a shirt tucked in, not crop top
