I just want to put this out there as a resource because I couldn't find anything about this when I was researching:

I just got my sheitel permed at a hair salon and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. I feel like my sheitel now represents my personality, and that I just look so much more like myself! It is absolutely beautiful, soft, not frizzy, and incredibly natural looking. It was also cost effective- I could have paid a considerable amount of money for a curly sheitel from the get-go, but instead, I paid for a straight sheitel plus $145 for the same result. And now I don't have to pay for wash and sets Smile

(For those of you wondering, the stylist used the Pravana beach wave product with hair rollers)

So if you're thinking about doing it, I highly recommend just going for it!
