I live in new jersey, and I got a letter from the seller of my house that I need to reimburse for homestead rebate, now I have a lawyer but its ch'h' and I am just so curious if anyone of you can explain why I have to pay their tax? I went to closing more then a month ago, and everything was good, now I got this letter with the tax issue erev yt' so I couldnt call my lawyer, what is this?! I know I should wait till after yt' but I am itching to know before. so anyone?

the sellers had a credit due to them from the homestead program for taxes that they paid. You need to reimburse them for the credit.
