Hi,

we are going to visit SIL and her family tmw for a day and need some quick and easy snacks to take with us on the 4 hour train ride.

Like something Pesach buns? We are tired of cake (we have tons of sponge cake) and want something savory.

My kitchen currently has:
Potatos, tomato paste, onions, paprika powder, eggs, pepper, baking soda, ground almonds, ground coconuts, baking chocolate, grated cheese, fresh tomatos, tomato concentrate, harissa paste, potato flour, raspberry jam and mock chicken soup. And matzah but I want to stay away from gebrokts.

I have no time shopping today as I work until nine and the goysh stores are closed (the kosher stores even close earlier), so I must do something with the stuff I have.

Any ideas?

we packed for a trip yesterday and this is what we brought:

Peeled apples (dipped in lemon juice)
Peeled Kirby spears
Baby Carrots (can also be peeled carrots)
String cheese and sliced American cheese
Apple sauce
Yogurt
Potatoes cut into large spears and baked with spices
Blintzes (time consuming)
Chocolate Chip cookies (with nuts) and store bought macaroons
pistachios
Large slices of gefilte fish
Lettuce salad
Potato chips

The Ami magazine had a recipe for crackers in their whisk recipe magazine.

I was also going to mention the second link that ra_mom posted. [I never made the recipe but found it interesting]
