My baby loves to eat sitting on people's laps. She loves it DH or I feed her off our forks. She will grab food off the table and stuff it in her mouth. If I put her in a highchair, sometimes she'll eat. But lately she's not interested and might take a few bites and that's it. Then when I hold her, she's very interested in eating, even the food that she rejected. Finger foods, she's usually happy to eat on her own, but there aren't too many Pesach-friendly ones that I can think of. (Before Peach, she was enjoying whole wheat bread and rice cakes.) Anything slippery, she's not really interested in (except on my lap).

Personally, I don't like it when she eats of my plate b/c I get filthy and I have to watch her hands b/c she'll grab things from the table and they'll go flying. I don't really want to do BLW if I can help it. I'd much rather feed her and then let her go play.

Also, she's not one yet and she's nursing so food is not really that important for her, so it's not like I'm worrying about her not getting enough calories. It's just when she sees it, she wants it, especially when it's on my plate!

Any ideas?
