The nail polish itself is fine. The top coat iirc can be problematic if you hold that non food items are problematic.
I wouldn't hesitate.

I believe it's fine as rubbing alcohol is fine, though I haven't looked into it for a while.

Are you going to cut your nails? People usually don't cut nails on chol hamoed.

I was told getting a manicure for lkavod yom tov is different from cutting your own nails, but thats what MY rabbi told ME

I was told that one cannot get a manicure or pedicure on chol hamoed due to mar'as ayin... but AYLOR.
