wow! I hope it's going to be followed because I was just talking to someone about this and it had happened to both her and me that we had been in the hospital and a doctor came to see us and never said anything but didn't participate in our insurances and we were forced to pay out of pocket. I would have requested a doctor in network had I known, no one even told me that he was coming to see me. He just showed up, checked me and billed me $500.
