My grandson is below the lowest percentile in weight and height for his age group...he is almost three and looks really small. However, he is very active, talks and performs in every other way equal to other children in his age group. The doctor just did bloodwork and suggested he start taking Carlson Drops. Is this a calcium, or is it a vitamin D supplement. If anyone is familiar with these drops, can you please provide us with more information. TIA

I am only familiar with the Carlson Vitamin D drops, but they may have other versions.
According to Rabbi Heber of the Star K, the D drops are fine kashrus wise as they only have coconut oil in them as a carrier with the vitamin.
