I bought a couple of items in my Pesach shopping that were labelled with a badatz edah Charedis kosher l'pesach hechsher. However I noticed שמן צמחים vegetable oil in the ingredients. How is this possible?

Euphemism for palm oil.

On Pesach it usually means palm oil. Walnut oil is too expensive...
