2nd HP printer doesnt send faxes and HP Tech Supp lies

When I got the first HP Photosmart 7525 I worked with tech support for an hour to solve the problem. I was unable to receive or send faxes and other issues. They couldnt resolve it so they sent me another printer. The second printer receives faxes but doesnt send. Family member had to fax 50 sheets at a drugstore at a loss to us because of this problem.

I called Verizon to ask if it has anything to do with my phone service. They told me that if I have a dial tone, I shouldnt have a problem sending and receiving faxes. They say its a printer setting issue.

I insisted on speaking to an HP supervisor. When I speak to the underlings they tell me the supervisor isnt available. Theyve been telling me the supervisor will call me at a certain time. Twice, the time came and went and I didnt get a call.

How do I deal with this?
