I taught two of their children. The amazing mesirus nefesh of these parents is extraordinarily inspiring. It's exciting to know that we can hopefully make their life a bit easier!

Happy to say that despite the discouraging lack of accessiblity earlier today, I tried again several hours later.Within 2 minutes I had answered the extra question that the elevator is better than the ramp, got double vote. Hope this family gets double the votes of everyone and gets the van and lots & lots & lots of siyata diShmaya. Hope they can feel how so many of us are rooting for them. Glad they chose such a picture with smiley faces, amazing story.

I was just clicking on some of the other profiles, they each have such sad stories, and some of them hardly have any votes. I wish I could voter for everyone, or somehow give each one of them an accessible van. So sad.

There are only 4 vans that will be given away & even if the Herzfelds get the highest number of votes it's no guarantee that they will win but it will put them in the top 10% to be considered for the prize.
