I think they're cute for a boy. I wouldn't put them on my daughter. Which gender are they selling them for?

Gosh, everyone is walking around with it... it's so boring! Why is everyone so in love with it?

They're not the worst but I don't really like those on a boy. He's not a doll, either dress up your daughters or buy a present for your nieces if you feel like buying something cutesy. Saltwater Sandals are nice without being too pretty, See Kai Run also has good leather sandals.
I'm not technically opposed to boys dressing in more colorful, trendy clothing: I just think there are some weird dynamics and double standards in how people in certain places like to dress their kids these days. How would you feel if your daughter wanted a pair of black laceup oxford type shoes for Shabbos? What are you going to do when he hits a certain age and suddenly bright green shorts and a floral colarless shirt isn't ok on Shabbos anymore?

My boys don't even care what they are wearing. They go to school and all the boys are wearing some kind of a t-shirt and pants or shorts. They go to shul and everyone is wearing a suit or a shirt and dress pants combo. That's how it works.
