A friend of mine is making her first wedding and is extremely overwhelmed with the planning and shopping. I would love to be able to help her. Are there any publications for the frum community (pamphlets, websites, magazines) that can make the preparations more manageable and easier?
TIA

There is the Chosson/Kallah guide that is available at Jewish bookstores in the tri-state area. It is free for Chassanim and Kallos and their families. Just ask for it. It does cater mostly to NY/NJ things, halls exc, but I found it useful even though my wedding was OOT.

Just discovered a new website called THE SIMCHA CENTER. It is absolutely the most comprehensive and detailed list I have ever come across. It is easy to navigate and covers all simcha options. All u need is to specify the type of simcha , location and interest area and a list of vendors will show up.
