What is the standard big size family portraits that people hang up in their house? Is it 8x10 or 10x13? we just got portriats taken and I want to know what size to order

Whatever you prefer. You can get 11x14 or 20x30 if you like.

I usually hang an 8x10 but I put it in a bigger frame (11x14) with a mat but this is because I don't have tons of wall space. I think it depends on the size of the space where you will be hanging the picture. If it's a large wall with little else on it go bigger. Small wall go with 8x10. Also, if it's the focal point of a display with other pictures around it you may want to go larger. Do what will look good in the space not necessaraly what others do.
