Lemon butter garlic works well...
I don't know an exact recipe though... you can easily play around with butter, cloved garlic, lemon, and pepper.

thanks all for your replies! I printed out all recipes for future use... I'm not a big fish fan ( and certainly not a butter/fish fan) -yet- ..
for now I'm looking for recipes that can be done in advance - that I can use on yomtov ( I dont like cooking on yomtov) to be served either cold/room temp or that can be rewarmed on blech.
thank you so so much!

this recipe is perfect. not to exotic, plenty of flavor, and very moist. we use white wine rather than the broth option.

2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon ( I use garlic powder instead)

Directions
Pat salmon dry. Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. brush with butter. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over salmon. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 20-25 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Yield: 8 servings.
