I posted recipes for savory cheesecakes as well as a salmon mousse in the dairy thread.

Puff pastry triangles. You can fill with mashed potato and cheese. Or a cheese filling - shredded cheese and enough egg to hold it together. I love spinach and cheese filling - saute onion and add spinach, cool and add shredded cheese and seasoning. Haven't made it in a while, so I forgot, but depending how watery the spinach is, it might need to be drained after cooking.

Sambousak (either chickpeas or cheese) and katchapouri can be served room temp. Better yet, why not just a nice cheese platter with crackers and condiments like chutney or quince jelly or grapes?

Thanks for the replies. Maybe I'll try a quiche.
