We're considering going on one of these this summer. The Bein Hazmanim program's dates don't work for us.
Any info you have is welcome. I'd like to know about the type of people that go, cleanliness, food, child friendliness, professionalism. If you've gone on either of these programs, would you go again? TIA

Bump - has anybody gone to Menucha, or know anybody who's gone? We're considering going there next week, but would like to hear from somebody who's been about the type of crowd, accommodations, food, activities, etc. Thanks!

I would think it would get a different crowd now then last week. Bein hazmanim ends on Sunday so I'm assuming there would be a turnover from who was there before.

Good point, Sky, thanks. I had assumed that it was already more geared toward a Chassidish/heimish crowd, would you assume that the end of bein ha'zmanim would make it even more so? Has anybody actually gone who can comment on the clientele?

I myself am litvish, and while I don't at all mind a Chassidishe crowd, I'm afraid I'll feel out of place if I'm one of the only non-Chassidishe families there.

We were in Menucha last year and the year before.
We had a mixed crowd totally.
The coordinator isn't chassidish as far as I know so you're already not alone.
I believe sunflower and Menucha have a big difference in price. Does that matter?
I loved loved loved loved the place. No fresh cooked food in Menucha btw. I don't know about sunflower though. U can buy frozen suppers. They have an extremely helpful and convenient concierge.
Shabbos was so nice. Everyone so friendly in the lobby.
I can only tell u about Menucha main location cuz that's where I was.
Clean, yes. Fancy five star, no.
It's Lovely spacious condo with couches and kitchen and porch which I really prefer over a fancy hotel when I go for a few days I wanna have my breathing space. Views are just crazy magnificent.
