I know this can run the range of anything.
But have you ever done an addition and how much did it cost. (you can be anon here)
- What size
- how many floors
- Did you pour a new foundation or use existing
- Did you add a basement
- What type of rooms did you include
- Anyone add just a second floor.
- add an attic
- or anything other details.

If you are seriously thinking of doing an addition, I suggest meeting with an architect. They can answer all your questions about cost based on YOUR HOUSE in YOUR AREA. They can figure out what will be the most cost effective solution for your needs.

I know that.
I'm not really serious about doing it. I would love to have a bigger house and we've been discussing it for years but don't really want to pour money in this house.
I was curious to hear what others have done.
People only have to share if they want.
