...the reward is the mitzvah of helping a frazzled Jewish mother!!
Info about these camps would be appreciated:
BP: Azamra, Stolin boys' day camp (contact info needed)
Flatbush: Penina
Palgai (IDK where it is)
Anyone know if Litvish/Yeshivish send to the BP ones, or are they mainly chassidish?
I'm also wondering what "type" Penina and Palgai are.
Suggestions are good too. I need ideas for school aged girls and a preschool boy, yeshivish type. Well priced is preferable.

Palgai is local, I believe in BP. Ages 8-14, Monday to Thursday, 9:30-5:00. It's a talent day camp for girls who are sleep away camp age.

No idea about girls, but I would recommend noam over stolin for boys. Noam is organized and well run, stolin is very laid back and not too exciting, also more chasidish than noam. Tel no for stolin 718-232-7800, noam 718-236-0305. Good luck!

Dd is going to azamra. Its nesivos's camp
Its very frum borderline chasidish. Alot of girls who did not get into BYDC because they were full are going to azamra. It is 850 whole summer. Much cheaper than Palgai. Palgai was about 1400 or 1500.

Azamra is Yiddish speaking. At least the preschool. If the child understands Yiddish, litvish/yeshivish is totally fine.

Only the preschool part of the camp is yiddish. Not the rest.

Thank you all!!
We're totally not chassidish, and my kids don't know a word of Yiddish. Would Azamra be off the mark? Is the camp well organized? What kind of activities/trips do they have?

Were not either chasidish and don't know a word of yiddish but sending to azamrah anyways. but I was told that they don't speak yiddish there. (I mean the camp itself, I know a lot of the kids do). My dd is not in preschool though.
I think you do need to be pretty yeshivish though.
IS your dd preschool or elementary?
I think penina is the old prospect park day camp, just with new name and new location.

Some girls in my daughters class from BY of BP are going to Palgai. Seems a little ritzy/snobbier than BYDC. No camp on Friday because "everyone" goes to the country for the weekend.

Many times new camps have a hard time with organization and making things fun but Nesivos is an established school so maybe it will be great.
The school is very frum, they accept "Toradig" families only. Nice plain simple learning families.

Azamra started last year. I did not send, but I have friends who did. Their girls liked it very much. It was organized and well run. This is its second year.

They were around last year too. I think this is the second year.
I heard great things about it.

DD brought home a flier from school for Camp Penina. I called about it. My understanding was that the director used to be at Prospect but started this new camp. She wants a Bais Yaakov crowd and sent fliers home through more yeshivish schools.
I decided to send my preschool son there and had to talk to her (the director) about a few things, and she really is a very sweet person. (Someone had told me she had a reputation for being kind, but I can vouch for it first hand.)
I was planning to send to another camp and switched, and she offered to deduct the deposit I lost from our fee. Not saying she'll do that for everything, just saying that was a very nice thing to do. Just one example.
Indigo amother, I'm amused by your earlier posts

I guess the information I got was outdated.
