How do you make your toddler brushing his teeth? He's a bit excited right now and even changing his diaper is quite an adventure... When I suggest he does like me and brush his teeth all I got is a big "no" and he plays with the brush.
Any ideas or tricks?? I don't want him to ruin his teeth!!

Get a finger brush. You put it on your (or his) finger, it's very soft and small and put a drop, around a size of a pea of kids toothpaste with some yummy flavor...

Let him/her brush a little and then brush his/her teeth yourself because toddlers cannot adequately brush their own teeth. Make sure to brush at an angle and to brush the tongue as well. Get a cute tooth brush and flavored tooth paste.

Well thanks. But I do have a cute toddler toothbrush and a strawberry toothpaste. It doesn't make the trick.

Beyla I had the same problem. I got Two tooth brushes. One for dd to play with and one that I brush her teeth with. And I brush MY teeth right before I attempt to brush hers. I tell her what I big girl she is.... It works most of the time.

I brush for him. Eventually he'l l be mature enough to do it himself.

Thanks for your answers! That's what we do we do it for him. And he plays with the toothbrush by himself also!

We give him 2 stickers on his pjs if he lets us brush his teeth....
