Lately I've been feeling STARVING in middle of the day- maybe because of nursing?
Looking for healthy, filling, fast snack ideas to keep me satisfied between lunch and dinner.
Lack of cooking utensils a plus
Some ideas of what I've been eating lately:
Microwaved broccoli and cheese
Oatmeal and milk, with either cinnamon sugar or chocolate chips
Yoghurt with chocolate
Not such healthy options:
Frozen pizza
Spelt chocolate chip cookies (one would be fine but I'll eat five)
TIA!

cheese and crackers
tortilla chips or pita chips with a bean dip (homemade) and a little melted cheese
how about a whole wheat wrap with a little tuna or egg salad
my personal favorite at the moment, lettuce/tomato/mayo on toast

Apple slices with peanut butter smeared on it, rice cakes / whole wheat toast with nut butters or chummus or techina and sliced pickles or olives,
homemade healthy muffins- make a double batch and keep in freezer,
granola made with puffed cereal (so it's clustery and more enjoyable to eat),
canned hearts of palm- I like it straight out of can or you can turn it into easy yum salad by adding avocado, tomatoes and optional scallions;
Canned chick peas- drain it and bake in oven with a bunch of spices till crispy,
Pistachio nuts, almonds, cashews,
Frozen bananas,
Smoothies with frozen fruits (you need a strong blender).
