btw I think "ultra orthodox" in the question is misleading. I think you mean chareidi or chassidish. not all ultra orthodox ban the sight of women.

Are you crazy? Asking the men to risk their heilige neshamas inspecting their cash where they may find pritzusdike images? What are you thinking, girl? The WOMEN must be the ones doing the inspection, to be sure. And if they happen to decide that Benjamin Franklin looks a little too lascivious and happen to confiscate his portable portraits, well, they're only looking out for their dh's spiritual welfare.
