I need to raise my rates
what is a normal amount to ask - is 20% raise normal?
10%?

Very hard question to answer. Depends on if your rates are competitive with market rates. Depends on supply and demand. 20% is huge. To me even 10% sounds big. I would think something like 5% and then in a year if ppl still coming try another 5%

Mishpacha magazine had an article on this topic a few weeks ago. See if you can get hold of it. The article said how much to raise your rates and how to raise them without losing your customers.

You can do a higher percentage for new customers but keep existing customers closer to your current fees.
