So, back to NYC, we have an appointment in the Williamsburg area today. Since we'll be out of our area anyway, are there any parks worth checking out around there? Or, if I decide to venture farther out towards Prospect Park, where in PP are good play areas for little kids? Worth a trip?

I dont know if you are confortable with this but Prospect park has a splash pad which is basically like a rink filled with a small amount of water for kids to play in. Its mostly small kids and its large and alot of fun. Its by the flatbush ave entrance.

It's a nice thought but it's in the 70s today. I was thinking schedule-wise tomorrow would have been a great day for Brooklyn Bridge Park but the forecast looks rainy. Sigh. For today I'm just looking to fill an hour or so.
