I used double the amount of oil than called for - 1 cup instead of 1/2 cup to 6 lb. of flour. Should I dump the dough?

I actually know someone who's recipe calls for 1.5 cup oil to 7 lb.

It should be OK. I used to use 3/4 of a cup of oil to 5 lbs of flour.

Consider it a science experiment, and let us know how it comes out!

Thanks - I like light fluffy challahs. It will probably be more dense. Oh well.
