Trust me on this, the supervision issues in summer are not quite just a Jewish problem...
I personally enjoy this bungalow thing, but the husbands are there too. I would just not go alone with the kids. I do agree it's hard to maintain your personal limits when "everyone" is sending toddlers out alone and you don't want your kindergartner outside at 11 pm and her friends are asking for her to come.
