Might as well start getting ideas for Milchig/ Parve meals. Please include recipes if applicable, and try not to include any ingredients to fancy.

My kids like the bubble pizza ring from the Kids in the Kitchen cookbook (it's posted elsewhere). I prepare the dough myself.

Other recipes that my kids like are crockpot french onion soup and vegetarian chili (made on the stovetop). I can post links to these if anyone is interested.

Here's a link. We prefer it with a little less chili powder than called for. It uses mostly canned goods so it's easy to prepare, but is still healthy and cheap.

Stuffed Pizza:
Spread thin layer of pizza dough round the bottom and up the sides of a round baking dish, fill with sautéed veggies (peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion, garlic...) throw in some garlic, pizza spice, oregano or whatever spices u like, a mix in liberal amount of pizza cheese. Cover with this layer or pizza dough. Spread some pizza sauce and more cheese.
Bake on 300 for about 25-30 minutes.

I like ethinic foods like chinese eggplant and quinoa or curried chickpeas and lentils, tacos, burritos or enchiladas. Spanish tortilla is another favorite. Also breakfast foods like pancakes, waffles, fritatas. Soups and chilis are also good.

Every year, my mom makes a parve cholent for one dinner during the 9 days. In my family it was always a welcome treat. Healthy, hearty and not cheesy! I happen to love milchig meals but sometimes it gets a little much during the 9 days...!

I like to make tacos with parve "meat" and all the fixings.
Serve it with rice and red beans.

Love omelets with spinach and cheese, fried potato slices, sweet plantain, peppers onion mushroom, just about anything. Can be served with home fries.

I also make cauliflower crust pizza to get DH to eat more veggies.

Eggplant parm is another easy recipe

How about lasagna, baked ziti, macro I and cheese, if you don't mind so many carbs.

All the above with salad makes a great meal.

Something I haven't had in a while, grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup.

I can give you ideas that are dairy and fish free but what kind of food do you like? We are not picky eaters at all so my ideas might not suit your family.

Off the top of my head

Spanish Tortilla (egg and potato omelette cooked in a frying pan and cut in wedges)

Veggie fried rice

Sweet and Sour Eggplant

Pasta with any sauce and veggies no cheese

lentil tacos cheese optional

baked falafel with toppings
