At this point, I am not considering waxing, electrolysis, or laser. I've tried Nair cream and shavers. Can anyone recommend a specific product? Do you use a shaving cream too, and can u recommend one?

I make my homemade shaving cream with sugar, coconut oil and fresh lemon juice.
I massage in the scrub, shave with a good shaver, rinse. And then repeat.
The first shave gets all the hair off (the scrub helps lift any flat hairs) and the second time exfoliates and gets rid of any remaining roots/bumps.
Then pat dry and apply lotion/moisturizer.
Works even better than waxing for me. Skin stays smooth for days, no bumps.

I use the Venus Embrace. Quite good, yet not super expensive.

I use an electric shaver. The company I use is Conair, I bought it because the price is low but I'm pretty happy with it. I don't need to use shaving cream, and it's quick.
I will say that I have had to replace it twice already because I dropped it and it broke.

To make your shave cleaner and to avoid cutting your leg, only shave once you've been under hot water for a few minutes. Also, if you exfoliate first you get a smoother finish.
