Yes, I have heard of this usage.
And I'm also scratching my head at the use of "yeshivish."
But we can rest assured it won't be a spelling bee word as it's too phonetic.

Yes, my husband used the word that way.

When would you ever get 12 hours of continuous sleep at a yeshiva? Even the day of Shavuos.
