I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. By using the therapy my husband is able to delay ejaculation and control his own physical timing. The side benefit to stop start is the extended f0replay.

I've read that men doing kegel exercises can really help with PE.
I have no idea of its true or not, but might be worth a try.

Correction: ask your Rav about Yom Kippur...There must be different interpretations now. I know Yom Kippur is a no-no. And I know this is a very old post just the Yon Kipur worried me.
