ive used it for about a year as an app on my tablet. It works great. no viruses or nasty pop up ads or anything. Its actually an israeli company. Its free on android but they appear to charge on ipads/iphones. It also works on regular computers. Basically it works by making your device appear to be in the USA.
Netflix is available in my country but the selection is pretty pathetic compared to the usa so I use it often to watch american netflix. (or other countries, movie and programme selection varies from country to country) The only complaint is that it slows it down - ie movies take longer to load and are sometimes fuzzy for a minute or two.
You do need to have a netflix account however. Doesn't matter from which country. I don't know how easy it is to open an account from israel. you might need an american cc and address.
