Do any CA or Israel based imamothers have a number for a Rav/Bais Horaah who might be able to answer a sheyla re: taking medication before sleep tonight? A NY-based friend of mine is in a really bad place emotionally and needs her melatonin to sleep but neglected to ask a Rav beforehand, and now wants to know what to do :-(
I figured if anyone knows of a Rav she can call at this point it would be a bit of ahavas chinam
TIA
Posting anonymously because my friend is very embarrassed about her emotional situation

Why does your NY-based friend want a LA- or Israel-based rav to answer her question? And why doesn't she ask her own rav?

I'm assuming because it's late here in NY...
A different time zone would allow for being less likely to wake someone up...
