very easy and yummy. this is a double recipe. I cut into small pieces and it yields me about around 25 regular sized cinnamon buns. (like same circumference of a cupcake, not a super huge cinnamon bun that would fit like 6 in a 9x13 - just cut into larger pieces for that, but it yields less)
mix and let sit 15 min:
-3.5 c warm water
-3/4 c sugar
-1/2 c oil
-6 T yeast
then add:
-1 T salt
3 egg
10.5 c flour
mix for 10 min. let sit 10 min.
divide dough in half. roll one half into rectangle. spread with 14 c melted butter and then with cinnamon sugar ixutre - 1 C sugar and 1 T cinnamon. roll up tight but not too tight. divide into 12 rolls for large or just many small ones for smaller ones.
place on greased cookie sheet. let rise - I let sit for several hours or put on stovetop and turn oven on.
bake 12-15 min at 400.
drizzle frosting-
1 cube butter
2 dashes salt
2 t. vanilla
6 c powdered sugar
milk
warm water as needed
for these variations, add to regular frosting:
orange rolls: add orange concentrate
chocolate: add baking cocoa and drops water
cream cheese: add cream cheese
