I want to spend a few hours relaxing by myself.
Dh offered to babysit tom so I can go out for the day .
Im in Brooklyn, I have a car.
I love water. Looking for a great, not populated/loud beach I can go and relax by. Doesnt need to be a swimming beach, I like to just watch the water.
Maybe with a nice shopping area nearby too, but not such a priority.
Any ideas?

sea gate - there are private houses that let you in the backyard, the other beaches there are also quite empty

Manhatten beach is also on the quiet side
