My playroom is small and I want to make the most of it. What's the best piece of furniture you ever bought for your playroom?

Technically not furniture, BUT.... Stuffed animal hammocks. If your kids have a lot of stuffed animals, dolls, or even sports equipment (balls, mitts, etc.) these keep an amazing amount of clutter off the floors and take up way less space than toy boxes, cubbies, etc. A must in a small playroom I think.

I would try to leave the floors completely empty. Leaves more play space, and makes for easier cleanup. I put a colorful mat simalar to this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GGPZSFA?psc=1 for decoration and comfort (and in case they color on the floor which happens often).

Toys. Right now mostly baby toys but it changes as our needs change. The bigger kids sit on top to read.
I store arts and craft supplies in the Trofast unit. I use shallow bins for things like paper, crayons and markers, paint brushes, random supplies like glitter, googly eyes, pompoms, etc. and a few of the deepest size bins for paper towel rolls, empty bottles, empty strawberry baskets, etc.
