We like the Gap warmest jackets as we walk a lot and really need to keep super insulated from the cold.
This year there is not much of a color selection. I see they have something else called primaloft and I am wondering if anyone has experience with these jackets and how they compare to the warmest line.

IMO the prinaloft is not a winter coat. DS wears it as a fall/early spring jacket.

Thank you. I really appreciate your input.
Maybe I need to consider the hot pink warmest jacket.

The primaloft puffer arrived today. It's definitely warm enough for NY winters. Probably not for Canada or Alaska.

If it gets really cold like last winter you need a real warm one!

I walk all over with my girls in ice cold weather and truly need the warmest gap version.

I need it for kids in strollers. They get blankets if it's that cold.

And please Hashem spare us from that this year...

Those of you saying it's not as warm... did you try this year's version? The tags are full of phrases like "warm as down" "the luxury down alternative"... I don't think my children have ever worn anything warmer.

Am I missing something?
