So, I have an almost 3 year old who will be starting gan 3 soon.
He never was a good nightime sleeper, NEEDs me to be there for him to fall asleep. And if he's in my room, he wakes the second I wake up (no there is no waking up before the kids unfortuantely!!!)
I have attributed a lot ot separation anxiety, from c-section, etc.
BUT enough already - can some of it be just trying to get his way? Crying EMA! in the middle of the night 'till I come to him and waking everyone up? What do I do? If it's separation anxiety I am scared to make it worse.
TIA

So wait, you're saying you have another baby and your toddler has separation anxiety because you had a recent C-section and disappeared for a few days? That would do it for sure, but I would think he's be over it soon enough. And honestly, I don't think at that age crying ema in the middle of the night is a ploy for attention and manipulation - at that age they're still practically babies.
