I didn't know people make kokosh cake with margarine. My grandmother was a professional cook and her kokosh cake was made with oil, though I don't have the recipe handy.
Would you like a babke recipe?

Yes please. I'd love to try it.
Also want to try using it to make the soft doughy Rugelach, filling them with vanilla cream like I tasted when I was in Isreal. Dreams dreams...

Anyone have the recipe? I would love to make kokosh cake for Yom tov and want to try a really good bakery type of recipe.
