To give you an idea, I'm 5'8" and a size S/M. I'm still looking for the perfect shell. I live in NY.

Here is my experience:
- Kikiriki and Junee are too tight
- PB&J have sleeves that are too short on me
- Plum Petal are also on the short side and have no color choice
- Michael Tyler has a nice fit but I never saw them in the States.

What is your experience with other brands (fit, quality, color choice etc.)? Would you suggest a particular brand?

I'm about the same size. Anna Meyer shells can be okay but I have a hard time finding them, so lately I've just been getting a bigger size in Junee shells (those things are TINY, get a large or even extra large) and PB&J for 3/4 sleeves.

These may be of use. The price is good and there are many colors. You might try one to see.

Did you try them yourself? How is the neckline IRL? Do they get stretched out over time?

I use them. The neckline is serviceable, but not the most elegant. They do fine for ten dollars.

I use them UNDER another thing, say, a sheer georgette blouse. This shell gives good coverage and makes anything modest.

They are cheap and they have a lot of colors. They are all-cotton.

For me that's enough, but your mileage may vary.

Most of mine are black, machine washed, inside out, in cold water. Machine dried.

That's nice, but I'm not sure you posted your reply on the right thread.

How do they size? There is no sizing information on their website.

I wasn't expecting you to come pick it up! Smile I'm happy to send them but you have to figure out if shipping is worth it (sometimes it is if you buy a bunch)

The chi chis run smaller than pb&j but much more generous that Kiki Riki. I usually order a size up . I have a local store that carries them which makes me able to try them on before buying .

That's so nice of you! I'll keep it in mind. What brand are they and how much do they cost?

Which store? If it's around NYC, I could go and try tm on.

Star Dust & Shelly Club.

They are $10 each. Really soft and comfy material and perfect neckline!

I'll try to see what I can find here and contact you if I don't find the "perfect" shell.
Your nice offer made my day. I'm going through very difficult times and seeing that a stranger on the other side of the ocean is willing to help me really makes me feel happy Smile
