Easy divine blondies
(anon because I am known for these Smile

I make this in a pot instead of a bowl, makes them richer. you can just use a bowl and mix them cold.

2/3 c margarine (or oil)
2c brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2c flour (I use white whole wheat, no diff)
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1c chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.
1. In a pot over a low flame, dissolve the brown sugar into the margarine until just combined. remove from flame. (let cool a few min, or just do the next step super fast).
2. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
3. Add flour, baking powder and baking soda, in that order, and then mix well.
4. Pour into 9x13 pan for thick blondies, and larger pan for thinner bars.
5. Sprinkle chocolate chips (and slivered almonds, walnuts or pecans) and bake for 25-35 minutes.
