I was very scared of dogs until temped at a place where the owner kept his barking snarling dog on the loose. At first I was terrified. I even needed co workers to walk me past that dog.
I googled "scared of dogs". The websites managed to convince me that with all their barking jumping and snarling at you, dogs aren't really interested in hurting you. Plus I figured worst come to worse I will get bitten. Then I can sue and won't have to work for a while...Maybe for my children's sake it is worth it...(Yes I know this sounds terrible.It was just a coping mechanism)
When I left two month later I still disliked dogs and their barking jumping and snarling at you but I'm not really scared of them.
You'll get over it too...
