Is there any tradition for who makes the Shabbat Sheva Brachot? Chattan's side or Kalla's side?

Could be it varies by circle, but as far as I know, the girl's side does the shabbos sb

In some Sephardic circles, the boy's side makes the Shabbos Sheva Brachot - called the Shabbat Chattan.

By Ashkanazim girls do it, by Sephardim grooms side takes it, but if you discuss it with family you can split evenly if you choose to.

While it may be customary for the girl's side to do Shabbos Sheva Brachos for Ashkenazim, there's no law insisting on this. I am Askenazi and my I laws made Shabbos Sheva Brachos because it was more convenient for them to. They had more space.

Our shabbos sheva brachos was in my husband's home town because it was most convenient. Wedding was on Monday, first two sheva brachos were in my home town (we didn't wanna have to travel the day after the wedding) Thursday was asara bteves so no sb then anyway, so we used that as the travel day, and shabbos sb was there. We drove back Sunday, Sunday night was last sb. We wanted to do shabbos sb in my hometown, but if we were not gonna travel the day after wedding, and Thursday was no sb anyway, there was no point of driving in on Wednesday just for one day of sb there, and then traveling back for shabbos.it didn't make sense. I think it mostly has to do with convenience.
