I am IY"H going to E"Y for Succos. I plan on buying the food in a takeout store (hoping it will be cheaper that buying from a home caterer). Does anyone have any names of takeout places that sell that sell good, tasty food for a good price. Preferably in the Geulah area. TIA

I loved the food at ma'adanei zahav. They cook really well. Might be a bit more expensive but so worth it. It is on rechov Malachi. Right off the Main Street

alot of peopel are happy with beis yisroel they are based in ezras torah but I think they some sort of restaurant in geulah area...

you should try someone who sells home cooked food. A little more expensive but worth it on the stomach. YOu dont want to spend your vac in the btrm

Hadar geula is more heimishe foods, like cholen, kugel, salatim, etc. For that they are very good.
For a more typical american Shabbos food I recommend www.shabboskodesh.com. They have good food, good service, and deliver if you buy a certain amount. For our family Shabbat their prices were as good as anywhere else, but I don't know if you are buying a small amount. Don't even look at the prices on the site. call for the real prices. The site is just to get an idea of the menu.
