I'm not thinking Cherry Hill is like Lancaster. There is children's museum and it is near the philly attractions.

What does your family like to do?
Did you do dutch wonderland?

We did a vacation about 3 - 3 1/2 hours from Lakewood.

There was traveling between areas:
- Knoebels - fantastic amusement park
- Lake Tobias - Great Animal Park with small safari
- Gravity Hill near Pottsville - very short trip but worth the detour
- Centralia Abandoned city (you have to do research before going before there is zero tourist information. You have to figure out yourself were to park, hike and investigate. We didn't see any burning smoke or feel like the heat like we expected, but it was still cool to see the remnants of an abandoned city (broken pipes, torn aspholt, bricks, etc). And walk along an abandoned highway (the graphity is graphic). A local resident hiking helped us out a lot otherwise we would have seen nothing.
Other activities in the area we did not do:
- Coal Mine Tour (there are at least 2 to choose from)
- Red Deer at Rolling Hills Farms
- Rickett's Glenn State Park - supposedly nice waterfalls, a bit of a drive
- Yuengling Brewery & Museum

We stayed in Frackville which was pretty central. There are also homes in the area to rent on VRBO. Bloomsburg is also central. Some of the site were an hour away.

Just driving through some of the old towns was fascinating, there was some strange stuff.

Also near Cherry hill is Fort Deleware - it may be a little drive - but it is worth it. It is a full day trip and my kids loved it!
