My toddler wriggles out of the child restraint strap and tries to stand up! He fell out once as we were walking and banged the back of his head. ב"ה he's ok, but are all Cameleons so unsafe? What can I do in the future?

I sewed on extra clips to hold the chest harnesses together, similar to car seat.
Many moms close the top two shoulders straps in an x for better closure.

I used to x them. I thought it was because my child was skinny and the seat said something about being 20 pounds and up. I sold it 4 years ago to fund a double and still miss it
