Wow, I feel like a slacker. We do laundry twice a week - 1 or 2 loads each time. No more than 3 loads a week. I guess we have a big machine. Oh, there are four of us - 2 adults, 2 kids.

In Israel the washing machines are much smaller. I am constantly doing laundry. I do 7 loads a day at least just to keep up. GD forbid someone throws up or wets the bed. The laundry is always going. Everyone in the house is constantly checking on it to move it along. |
Sounds familiar. We have 6 people too and are constantly running a load. Smaller machine than I had before but they do wash better. 3 towel loads a week, wet sheets daily sometimes, usually 3 regular loads a day except Shabbat. I never get to put away all of the laudry before more is ready. We often just find tomorrow's clothes straight from the basket of unfolded laundry. Sigh...

I definitely wash the diaper wearers pjs after one use! Urine smells. I don't want to put on smelly pjs on freshly bathed (or not) kids. I have enough pjs for the week, but end up doing at least 2 colored loads weekly.

Growing up our linen was washed every week. Unfortunately I don't do that often.

Growing up linen was washed every other week I but I wash every week.
PJs we wash after each time but recently there have been times where dd will want to wear a second night (sensory) and since she's straight out of bath each night I don't always fight her.
