Does this exist?

Looking for a carseat for a 15 month old that will work with a snap n go from any brand, or any other set of wheels.

Thanks.

Sorry but snap and gos only work with infant seats. Convertible car seats are huge, heavier and don't have a base. So no place to "snap". You can only use the infant bucket seat with that stroller. If your child is too big for their infant seat- time to buy a convertible and get a different lightweight stroller so it's the same weight as the snap and go.

FYI, please rear face in the convertible. The American Academy of pediatrics says to do until at least 2. Others say until the child can't fit backwards.... It really is much much safer than forward facing a child!!!

So what do people do if they have a child this age that needs to be taken places often, and they don't use their own car? I travel by car service, and it's obviously not the same car coming and going. Is there a stroller that will fit a convertible in its basket? Really desperate here...

There is one that folds up. Not sure- Diono? Super heavy and expensive though. Sorry- I have a car so don't know for sure but the typical convertibles won't fit in a stroller basket.

I've heard of people using something like this, but don't know how it works for long distances.

Never tried any of these - but they do make carseat carts:

I have never seen any like the first one. So much like a stroller.
Thanks for posting!

I did some digging of my own and was about to post these 3! The 3-wheel one might just do the trick. I'm not crazy about it being so close to the ground, but it's better than nothing.

Bumping this up to ask if anyone ever tried balancing a toddler carseat on the hood of an umbrella stroller.

The carseat I'm thinking of getting is the Cosco Scenera, because it's the most lightweight one I could find, at 7.5 pounds.

Don't need this to work for long distances, just for short walks from the car into a building and up an elevator.

Get a buckling strap to clip it around the stroller, and it may work, but the hood would have to be pretty sturdy.

Thanks, HY. That's actually a great idea.

Tee312 what about orbit? It doubles as a stroller and toddler car seat?

It's VERY pricey. http://www.albeebaby.com/orbit......html and this is just the base. I saw it yesterday when looking for some car seat deals and did a double take.

The orbit has a base with multiple seats- infant carseat toddler carseat bassinet and regular stroller seat but it is around 700 for carseat and base Confused

This is cheaper, but by no means cheap: http://www.amazon.com/Lilly-Go.....BUP1A

The convertible carseats that my kids have are incredibly heavy/bulky, but if you get a somewhat lightweight one, there should be some way to hook it to the stroller for a short walk...

I saw that one a while back but was hoping not to have to spend that much.

The car seat I'm going to get is the Cosco scenera and it only weighs 7.5 pounds.

I'm just deciding if I should get one of the stroller frames linked above, (likely the 3 wheel one), or stick with an umbrella stroller and hope I can manage maneuvering the 2 somehow. The reason I'd go with a stroller is I can get a good one for cheaper than those carts, and then I have a regular stroller to use even when we're not travelling/traveling with our own car. But the cart might just be more practical.

If someone could come up with a way to make a rain shield fit over the toddler car seat, that would make my decision a bit easier.

What about hanging it over the handlebars? Any ideas for how that could work? Are there any loops on a car seat? Maybe one of those hooks people use to hang shopping bags?

If you just need to transport it for very short distances, can you get a carrier bag with a strap (or a duffel bag) and sling it over your shoulder?
