I am flying to my in laws for 2nd days of succos and got a seat on the plane for my baby out of practicality and not having to hold him the entire flight (even tho it is only a 2-2.5 hr flight). DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT ID I NEED FOR HIM OR IF I NEED ANY? Also, what can I bring for his bottles (takes only formula now)? I know I can get a water bottle after security, but what about the powder?

1) if you have a seat for him, you must bring a car seat - I believe it needs to be faa approved.
2) ime, they let through any liquids in a diaper bag, regardless of size. Just tell them you need it for the baby. And powder isn't a possible in any case. They will give you hot water on the plane if you need/ask.
3) you do not need id for a child under 18. But if you're the type to worry, you can just take the birth certificate. But it's not needed.
