I started a new group me text. and I just dont know how to add people to it. I tried #addname and number its rejecting it. I left out # and its still rejecting it. what am I doing wrong???

If you didn't download it you probably don't have it.
Android or apple? Go to the store and download it. It should be free. Then it is much easier to add people from your contacts or even with nothing more than email address.

yes I text to groups all the time and I get private texts too. is that what you mean? I just found out from safelink that my phone doesnt have that ability.

That's why I was asking; I don't think safelink phones offer that service.
