this has nothing to do with anything. he can be the best husband and father, but he still neglected his duty to show up in court and will now, unfortunately, need to pay the price.

Again, not judging, but this isn't adding up at all. You need to get on the phone with the lawyer and find out what is going on.

You are a good wife for standing by your husband. He should be a good husband and be honest with you in the future. This was hopefully a learning experience for him and he will be more careful next time. Hatzlacha.
